As VP of Payment Operations for Payrailz, Denise is responsible for ensuring superior payment processing, account reconciliation, biller/vendor management, and client success efforts in order to deliver a superior client experience. She has over 30 years of experience in Customer Operations, Payment Operations, Compliance, and Vendor Management, from which over 10 years have been in Money Remittances. The last 8 years have been in the Financial Technology industry.
Her experience includes working in a start-up environment, domestic and international money remittance and bill payment, managing third-party vendors (Billers, Processors, and Customer Support), developing and implementing operational procedures and processes.
Denise joined Payrailz from BillMo, a US-based company that offers a low-cost money transfer and mobile wallet application designed to enable US senders to send money to individuals in Mexico using just their smartphone and debit card. She was responsible for the day-to-day operations including customer support. Additionally, she directed activities, establish priorities, provides guidance and ensures the availability of resources to meet or exceed customer needs, while ensuring BSA/AML standards were understood, adhered to and reviewed. As one of BillMo’s first employees, she helped grow the company to be the first to set a new standard for low-cost money transfer and mobile wallet application for Mexico using a Smartphone.
